Martin Scorsese Looking To Shoot ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ After ‘The Irishman’

Scorsese may be up there in years, but that hasn’t lost his step as a filmmaker at all. He’s working vigorously on his Netflix produced film The Irishman which is taking shape as of late with Pesci and Ray Romano now cast in the film alongside De Niro and Pacino, but he could be right back at it once the film finishes production.

Working with his other muse yet again, Scorsese has been rumored to have a few films down the pipeline with Leonardo DiCaprio as well. The two films being Killers of the Flower Moon and The Devil in the White City, but it sounds like he is trying to get Killers of the Flower Moon his next project right afterwards which makes a bit of sense. Flower Moon tells the true story FBI head J. Edgar Hoover, a real life character DiCaprio has portrayed in the past with Clint Eastwood at the helm, and Scorsese is no stranger to crime dramas as we all know.

The reason is supposedly because Scorsese is just a working director who loves his job, but also because Flower Moon needs to be recreated due to it being set in 1920’s and dealing with the natives of the Osage nation. Dealing with a collective of people who were killed off by the virus known “white men” it’s not like they can casually recruit actors of American Indian heritage so easily nor create the proper settings without jumping on it in advance.
