Daniel Craig Set To Return As 007, Adele Also Returning For Theme Song

Image result for daniel craig skyfallIt’s been awhile since Daniel Craig has really been attached to anything Bond, and then we got the very Soderbergh trailer for his new film Logan Lucky which stars Adam Driver, Channing Tatum, and Craig himself in the redneck heist comedy. From what I can tell, that was either a rejuvenating shoot for Craig or his paycheck to come back as Bond was just that big. Regardless, Craig is in my honest and unbiased opinion, the best Bond we’ve had. He’s also been in two of the best Bond films of all time that are also just some of the best action movies ever made in Casino Royale and Skyfall.

If the Broccolis – the producers of all the Bond films – want to finish the Daniel Craig run of Bond films it would make sense to get the singer who brought us arguably the most powerful of all the Bond songs which was given to us by Adele in Skyfall.

Adele hasn’t been signed on to sing the theme song for the untitled Bond 25, but it’s Barbara Broccolis mission to get her on says reports. Sam Smith did the most recent song “Writing On the Wall” which was a pretty terrific and powerful song in of itself, but I think Skyfall still takes the cake between the Craig Bond films.

With Craig signed on for sure, the search for the next Bond is on hold yet again, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still speculate post Craig Bond. If Adele does come back for the music, it’d be a welcome return as a positive reminder to what has happened with the recent Bond films, but you’d be wrong to disrespect the amazing Casino Royale theme sung by the late Chris Cornell.
