No I don’t mean like a troll like we see in fantasy movies, but instead those annoying bastards that call your mom a whore and they’re either 14 or way too old to be living in their parents basement, that type of troll.
TJ Miller is one funny cat and he is making his living off of being the funny guy in these big tentpole films, but I doubt he or anyone else is complaining. The Mucinex Booger voice actor has also appeared in films like Cloverfield, Deadpool, Big Hero 5, and How To Train Your Dragon.
Spielberg’s book adaptation also stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg, and Mark Rylance. The film is set in the year 2044 where men and women of all ages find their escape in virtual reality gaming like people did with movies during the Great Depression. It follows that of Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) and his journey to find the clues of the game left by its creator in order to uncover a great treasure within the game.
Spielberg hasn’t exactly lost in touch by any stretch, but we haven’t seen that exciting blockbuster since, some can argue as far back as War of the Worlds (2005). The director’s focus seems to be on the historical epic dramas that have been more suited for Oscars than huge box office (which is fine), but the man created the Hollywood blockbuster with Jaws and his fans (me) miss his fun science-fiction and adventure films of old. Let’s hope this film does the job.
