Are We FINALLY Getting Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman’ With DeNiro, Pacino, & Pesci??

Give me a moment… I’m just really hoping this comes together like I think it will… few, I’m ready!

It’s no secret that Scorsese is one of the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) when it comes to directing movies and one of his multiple projects we had heard about was a little mob film adapted from the Charles Brandt book I Heard You Paint Houses which has a hitman by the name of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran on his deathbed telling the whereabouts of infamous gangster Jimmy Hoffa. The book’s title is in reference to when blood splatters onto a wall after a hitman kills someone.

No matter the movie, you should be excited about this film. Scorsese returning to a mob film, but with men like Deniro, Pacino, and Pesci among others we haven’t heard of yet is possibly one of the most exciting bits of news since we heard we were going to see Batman and Superman in the same movie together. Let’s just hope Scorsese brings more narrative to the table than in BvS.

There is a big financial circus going on for who will own the rights to distribute the film and whether or not it will have or not have a buyer before and after it’s possible appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. There isn’t much news on the actual production of the film, but it’s a great sign when there is this much chatter about the project at all. Imagine if Scorsese could get all the gangster greats in one film before they end up getting to old. Maybe even give Leo his cameo in the process along with other “good fellas”.

The film will be through the eyes and voice of our Irish hit-man, but it’s not confirmed who would play him or when the film will begin production, casting etc.
