I can appreciate how ironic it is that they released an Emily Blunt film on 4/20… Anyway, this is yet another weirdly cut trailer taking away our anticipation for a film that had far more intrigue surrounding it before this trailer.
The cast is great, the story is fascinating, but this trailer is terribly edited. Not that it spoils as much as we’d think, it still doesn’t bring that gravitas a mystery film should possess. We should have a trailer that makes us go, “and then what happens?!”, but instead we got a messy sort of okay trailer.
Does this mean I am going to avoid this movie? Well of course not, but I hope they provide a less is more approach for the next trailer rather than a more is more approach.
