While this won’t have Harry Potter in the film, the nostalgic magic filled world of the Potterverse will continue, but with a story that takes place nearly 60 years before any of the films and books prior. With Eddie Redmayne as the lead magizoologist Newt Scamander, we get a chance to see a classic 1930’s-40’s (roughly) New York where Scamander is taken in his journey.
It’s a refreshing take on what we do and don’t know about this world and to have Colin Farrell’s awesome voice narrate the 2:30 minute trailer was all the amount of selling I needed.
Mystery is still shrouded like the suitcase Redmayne carries with him, but the more we don’t see the more anticipated this film will become. To see all the new characters and new world (the muggle world in particular) will be a unique dynamic we vaguely saw in the previous eight films.
