The New X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer Looks Really Sad – Trailer Review

As the title goes, this will not be a happy ending for some of the X-Men. With the second trailer for Bryan Singer’s forth X-Men film we see a full view of our main villain and his four horsemen in action. The deeper we’ve entered this world of X-Men, we’ve seen the tone dampen and dampen with heartbreak and soul shattering tension with the stakes only elevating as the films roll on.

While there were skeptics with Oscar Isaac’s look as the big baddy, once the first trailer dropped, I was hooked like a fish. His voice, his presence, and his immense power were captured perfectly and the destruction these young mutants will face has only increased with this recent trailer.

I’m excited for this installment of the X-Men franchise and hope it delivers some surprises that we’ve yet to see in the trailers and that the lore gets explored more deeply with other X-Men staples.
