‘Gods of Egypt’ (2016): When Will Hollywood Learn That Egyptians Have Pigment In Their Skin?

I think we need to work on finding some talented Egyptian actors and actresses because this is getting ridiculous. I’m actually impressed they cast a black dude for once, unlike Ridley Scott’s gah-bage film Exodus: Gods and Kings, but it doesn’t excuse these posters are laughable. I don’t care that the cast is great, these are terrible, whitewashed characters that look like they belong in a Halloween costume kit. Just look…

I can only imagine what the first trailer is going to be like… None of us can comprehend what the movie is actually about, but I’ll leave a synopsis for you guys in case you suffer from insomnia.

“Set, the merciless god of darkness, has taken over the throne of Egypt and plunged the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Few dare to rebel against him. A young thief, whose love was taken captive by the god, seeks to dethrone and defeat Set with the aid of the powerful god Horus.”
