The Good Dinosaur is a unique spin on the “boy and his dog” story that we see every year, only this time, it’s a dinosaur and his human…and it looks like every other Pixar film, and that word is amazing.
The first trailer is the second U.S. trailer and trailer afterward is the International trailer.
Not only do both trailers prove that Pixar is the best studio out there when it comes to churning out consistently incredible content, but it also proves they know the formula to creating worlds that makes the kids enjoy themselves as well as the adults that cry during Inside Out because emotions…uhhhh
It’s like The Land Before Time meets a much friendlier version of Old Yeller. It’s not just the warmly constructed story that makes us melt, but it’s the jaw-dropping hyper realistic visuals of the scenary around them. What Pixar seems to pull of every time is their landscape and the scale of their films whether large or small and clearly they bring that master craftsmanship to their latest project.
From what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be one of my top five favorite Pixar movies.
