In the mid 90’s to the early 2000’s, Warner Brothers ruled the superhero cartoon genre and perhaps brought it to a whole new level when they gave us Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and then in 2000, Justice League: The Animated Series. The masterminds behind the famed and beloved animated television series were none other than Bruce Timm and Paul Dini and set a trend for the animated superhero shows later on with shows like Young Justice and before that Justice League: Unlimited.
Sadly, the unexpected cancellation of the now cult show Young Justice has rubbed us fans the wrong way, I call it the “Firefly effect”. But thanks to an unknown user of the popular website Reddit, we got a first image of what may be Warner Bros. newest animation line-up and what I am curious about is the image to the far right:
The future of superheroes is strong and the return of an animated dynamo like Warner Bros. Justice League brand is worth another try with such rich stories worth telling.
